WHAT WE DO

TRAINING REGIME

INITIAL TRAINING

At Principal Protection, we offer specialist security and event training and qualifications that are accredited, certified, and recognised both nationally and internationally. We deliver high-quality and professional training within the security and event sectors, priding ourselves on being large enough to meet any training need while remaining small and personal enough to care about the services we provide.

Since 2013, we have successfully assessed and trained thousands of stewards and security personnel, accommodating both individual and group bookings, including venues requiring over 100 officers at a time. Recent clients include the Emergency Services, Wembley, Hampden, Wimbledon, The Grand National, SEC, and football clubs across all professional leagues. We fully support the principle of equal opportunities and are committed to upholding this in all activities, while also ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of all clients and learners undertaking training and assessment.

SPECTATOR SAFETY

We exceed the standards required by law to ensure our Spectator Safety delivery and training programmes provide sports stadiums, event organisations, and venues with the most up-to-date and enhanced training, guaranteeing the safety of everyone within the venue. We offer qualifications from Level 2 to Level 4, with training routes available for Safety Stewards, Safety Supervisors, and Stadium Managers.

First Aid Training

This training covers a variety of emergency care techniques that can save lives and reduce the severity of injuries in various scenarios. Learners will gain the knowledge and confidence to respond to emergency situations and provide the best possible care to those in need. The training includes both theoretical and practical assessments, with a flexible delivery approach that allows for some theory training to be completed at home.

Mental Health at Work

Mental health issues can cause feelings of isolation, anxiety, and low self-esteem, and severe cases can even affect physical health. At work, these problems can hinder focus, problem-solving, and task commitment, leading to a decline in job performance. Understanding the importance of mental health is essential for all. This training course defines mental health and aims to prevent the stigma surrounding it. It provides skills on how to listen, understand, and potentially intervene to support mental health.

SAFEGUARDING

Creating a safe and welcoming event or venue where everyone is respected and valued is at the heart of safeguarding. It involves actively preventing harm, harassment, bullying, abuse, and neglect, as well as being ready to respond safely and effectively if a problem arises. Everyone in the organisation plays a role in safeguarding, which should become part of day-to-day activities, especially within the event and security industry due to the vulnerability of many customers. Our companies and event teams must consider safeguarding and child protection within their venues and events. We provide a range of certified and in-house training courses to raise awareness about safeguarding within the security and events industry. All training ensures that key concepts are understood and managed to ensure the safety of all staff and customers.
